QURANIC PERSPECTIVE

Why Money on a Learning Platform for Children?

Allah ﷻ mentions wealth and children together in the Qur’an as blessings and sacred trusts.

SURAH AL-KAHF • 18:46
الْمَالُ وَالْبَنُونَ زِينَةُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا
“Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world.” (Surah Al-Kahf, 18:46 — excerpt)
SURAH AT-TAGHABUN • 64:15
إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
“Your wealth and your children are only a test, and with Allah is a great reward.” (Surah At-Taghabun, 64:15)

At IlmSeeds, financial literacy belongs alongside reading, faith and character. Everyday decisions about buying, saving, sharing and giving offer rich opportunities to teach personal responsibility.

We help parents start these conversations early, using examples children can understand and habits they can practise at home without feeling the pressure of adult financial anxieties.

COMMON INQUIRIES

Questions You May Have

Do I need financial knowledge before joining?

No. Sessions explain concepts in plain, accessible language and begin with what you already understand. There is zero judgment.

Can I join without my children?

Yes. Parents frequently join to focus on their own household budgeting or investing knowledge first, using our take-home activities with their children later.

Will you tell me which specific investments to buy?

No. We explain principles, terminology, and screening frameworks so you can understand your options and ask informed questions. We do not provide stock tips, manage portfolios, or recommend specific securities.

Can you confirm whether a product is halal or calculate my exact zakat?

We explain general principles and help you organize the information you need. Specific religious rulings (fatawa) and complex zakat questions should always be referred to a qualified Islamic scholar.

Do I need to share bank statements or account numbers?

No. You can prepare a simple summary of income, expenses, and targets for budgeting discussions. Never send banking passwords, account numbers, or sensitive financial documents through our forms.
